Woman With Theft Priors H-E-Busted!

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A woman with multiple prior theft convictions was arrested Oct. 12 after deputies responded to a reported shoplifting incident at an H-E-B store along the Northwest Freeway, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies responded to the store in the 28500 block of the Northwest Freeway, where they identified the suspect as Courtney Jackson. Investigators determined that Jackson had passed all points of sale with numerous items without paying for the merchandise, according to the constable’s office.

Deputies also learned that Jackson had multiple previous theft convictions.

Jackson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a theft charge. Her bond was set at $100 through County Court at Law No. 16.

Herman said his office remains committed to working with local retailers to address theft and hold repeat offenders accountable.

“Repeat theft offenders continue to impact our local businesses and communities,” Herman said. “Our deputies remain committed to holding individuals accountable and working closely with retailers to combat theft throughout Precinct 4.”
