3 RESCUED INCLUDING BABY AS CAR PLUNGES INTO LAKE

Just after 7 pm, Montgomery County 911 operators started taking calls for a Toyota with a male, female and baby, that had gone through the intersection and into the lake and was sinking. South Montgomery County fire, MCHD, MCSO and DPS all responded to Birnham Woods at Northridge Forest in The Falls of Imperial Oaks Subdivision. A passerby, Tim London, saw the crash as he was approaching the intersection. London then saw the people in the water and went in after them. Falling on the slick bottom several times hitting his head and cutting his arms he got to the victims. The male driver was already out of the vehicle, the female was trying to get the baby from the baby seat as the car was sinking. Not knowing how to swim she was panicked also. London first got the baby from her, bringing it back to shore then went back and got the female. All 3 were checked by EMS but refused service.
