About 5:30 pm Friday night MCHD responded to a call with a reported sign falling on a worker on I-45 southbound, south of Calvary Road at the new Ridgeland Subdivision entrance. Units arrived to find a male partially crushed under part of a sign structure that was being unloaded from a trailer and shifted. . The male went into cardiac arrest and medics started CPR He was pronounced deceased on the scene and transported to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. Willis Police are investigating.
