Just after noon a bomb threat was called into the Montgomery High School. The school was evacuated to the stadium across the street. At this time bomb dogs are searching to ensure there is no device. We have received several messages that SWAT was on the scene with weapons drawn. This is false. At the time of the evacuation an Army Reserve Helicopter from the Conroe Base was flying over and on maneuvers and had nothing to do with the incident.
According to Montgomery Police Chief Napolitano the students are at the stadium and safe. There are fire units on the scene as a precaution as with any bomb threat.
