Over 2100 residents of Montgomery County have registered with FEMA for the Memorial Day severe weather and flooding. Montgomery County currently has 3 Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) open to provide a face to face contact with FEMA. Two of those locations will soon be closing.
The DRCs located at Bull Sallas Park in New Caney and The Magnolia Community Bldg will both be closing Friday July 1, 2016. The Disaster Recovery Center located at Lone Star College Montgomery will remain open to serve the residents of Montgomery County through July 30, 2016.

All citizens who have applied with FEMA and received a denial on their claim should not give up. Continue to visit with FEMA to appeal your claim.
