FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers

Over 2100 residents of Montgomery County have registered with FEMA for the Memorial Day severe weather and flooding. Montgomery County currently has 3 Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) open to provide a face to face contact with FEMA. Two of those locations will soon be closing.

The DRCs located at Bull Sallas Park in New Caney and The Magnolia Community Bldg will both be closing Friday July 1, 2016. The Disaster Recovery Center located at Lone Star College Montgomery will remain open to serve the residents of Montgomery County through July 30, 2016.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm; Saturday 8am-2pm Closed July 3rd and 4th for Independence Day.

Will remain open through July 30, 2016.

Patrons are advised to enter on the West Campus Drive entrance and park in lots 5/6. There is a path that leads directly to building G

All citizens who have applied with FEMA and received a denial on their claim should not give up. Continue to visit with FEMA to appeal your claim. Registration and appeals can be done face to face at the DRC, over the phone at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or online at www.disasterassistance.gov Continue monitoring The Office of Emergency Management website www.mctxoem.org for updates.
