Accused of Attacking Deputies

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A man faces a felony charge after allegedly interfering with a welfare check and attacking deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

On Oct. 23, deputies responded to a residence in the 600 block of Enchanted Trail Drive to check on a man’s welfare. During the investigation, another individual at the residence, identified as 46-year-old Kevin Wilson, allegedly interfered with deputies and physically attacked them.

Deputies arrested Wilson and booked him into the Harris County Jail on a charge of assault on a public servant. The 337th District Court set his bond at $15,000.

“Our deputies responded to this location to check on someone’s well-being, but instead were met with violence,” Constable Herman said. “Assaulting a law enforcement officer is a serious felony offense, and we will not tolerate attacks against those who put their lives on the line to protect our community. Anyone who assaults one of our deputies will be held accountable.”
