Family and friends will say goodbye to little Jazmin Alvarez this weekend at a service scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Conroe. Her mom, Krista Alvarez, wants MCPR readers to know everyone is welcome to attend.
The 8-year-old died May 5 when she was struck by a vehicle as she tried to cross FM 1314 to buy chewing gum. Jazmin’s dad died last year, leaving Krista Alvarez alone with four children to support. She has managed by working 12-hour shifts in The Woodlands, which is where she was at the time of the accident.
