BURGLARS CRASH HEIGHTS AREA CVS

Just before midnight the owner of a Ford F-250 truck parked his truck at his home near Fallbrook and Bammel North Houston. He wanted to make it at midnight for the kids to open gifts. After gifts were opened it was determined batteries were needed. When he went to get in his truck it was gone. Just before 5am HPD had a call to CVS at Yale and 20th in the Heights area. They arrived to find the stolen truck backed into the building and the ATM damaged. The thieves did not get the ATM or get it open but did extensive damage to it. Police fanned out but could find no suspects. As Miller Paint and Body Wrecker attempted to tow it out police discovered the truck ad actually gotten stuck and was most likely the reason it was left behind. The owner responded to the scene and discovered his damaged truck and several pair of his and his children’s tennis shoes missing.
