DPS NEEDING HELP TO IDENTIFY WOMAN KILLED THIS MORNING IN AUTO PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT

Just before 3am this morning Cut and Shoot Fire Department and MCHD were dispatched to an auto pedestrian accident on SH 105 East at Park which is just east of North Duck Creek.
On arrival paramedics found a white female, approximately 18 to 25-years of age with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes deceased on the westbound shoulder of the road. The female who was about 5′-6″ tall and weighed approximately 125 pounds had no identification on her.
She was pronounced dead by Judge Mett’s Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace and ordered Metcalf to transport the body to the Dallas Forensic Center for autopsy.
The driver of the commercial truck pulling a flat bed trailer was uninjured.
The driver James Steven Spurlin, age 39 told troopers he was westbound at approximately 60 mph when he spotted the woman in the road. Hitting his brakes and swerving to the right in an attempt to avoid her. He struck her almost center of the hood.
Highway 105 westbound lane was closed for almost four hours as DPS conducted their investigation.
At this time Troopers are asking for anyone who may possibly know this woman or has a missing family member or friend living in this area that matches the description to contact DPS Conroe.
