A crash on Tuesday morning took the life of 47-year-old Cleveland man. Just after 6am on Tuesday, April 22, 2024, Daniel Pena Tlaloc was south on FM 1010 near County Road 340. He crossed the center line in his Chevrolet Colorado and struck two other vehicles which were northbound. One of those vehicles was a 2010 Ford Escape driven by Dina Avilez, 41, of Cleveland. Also in her vehicle was a 15-year-old female and 18-year-old. The 18-year-old suffered Minor injuries, the 15-year-old was not injured, however the Avilez was taken to Kingwood Hospital in serious condition. The other vehicle struck was a Chevrolet Sierra driven by Elmer Landabede of Cleveland. He was not injured. DPS investigated the crash.
