We are still waiting and hopeful that we will receive a Presidential declaration, to get Individual Assistance and help from the Small Business Administration. To date, the Office of Emergency Management has received over 1000 reports of damaged homes and businesses. Beginning today, the United Way is hosting BCFS and their Immediate Disaster Case Managers. These Immediate Disaster Case Managers are a single point of contact for a variety of resources and services.
They can provide you with:
· Information on resources available in your area
· Assistance with FEMA registration or appeals
· Relocation services
· Creating a personal recovery plan to overcome issues caused by the floods
· Disaster-related unmet needs
