GOFUNDME STARTED FOR VICTIMS OF SATURDAY MORNING FIRE

Kristine Clancy is organizing this fundraiser.

Saturday morning my best friend Kiesha Hinton and her kids lost their home and everything to a fire. They have nowhere to go. Hoping we can raise enough to help get them into something warm and safe. So far we’ve had generous donations of clothes and personal items. But I think this will further help them. My goal is to get them into a place ASAP. Thank you to anyone for anything you can and have helped with she is very grateful. She currently doesn’t have a phone so we’re all just going to take this on for her in her behalf! Thank you and God bless.

At 9:10 am Saturday fire dispatchers started receiving calls for a mobile home fire at 13472 Bert Brown Road in Conroe. Caney Creek, Conroe and Needham Fire Departments responded. As the first Caney Creek truck left the station a very short distance away, firefighters already spotted a column of smoke in the sky. As they turned on Bert Brown the column turned black and as they arrived in the mobile home park the mobile home was fully involved. They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, but not before five dogs perished. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office believe the blaze started in a bedroom as some members of the family were still asleep in another part of the house.
