HEAD-ON CRASH CLOSES ROGERS ROAD FOR OVER TWO HOURS

Just before 5:30pm North Montgomery County Fire Department responded with MCHD to a reported major accident with entrapment. They arrived to find a head-on crash just east of Coaltown Road on Rogers Road. A male in a Chevrolet Trail Blazer was entrapped and in critical condition. Firefighters quickly cut the roof off the vehicle which was on it’s side and removed the driver. He was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition.

A Ford F150 was also involved. The male passenger of that vehicle was also in critical condition. He was  transported with the adult male driver and a male juvenile passenger, both of which were in stable condition.

DPS is currently investigating the crash and have not yet determined if alcohol played a factor in the crash.

The road reopened just before 8pm as Texan Towing and Hillbilly Towing removed the vehicles from the scene.

DPS was assisted by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control.
