who has just recently completed his first 300 days in office. “We have handled more than 11,375 new criminal cases and issued 2,685 new warrants, the balance were ones already here when I took office. There were 56,000 notices sent out county wide, people know they have the obligation , we have given them every chance to contact the court, they will suffer the consequences of not being responsible and not taking the law seriously.” said Judge Mack.

They will be looking for offenders at home, work or where ever they may be, using all available techniques. “ We appreciate all the Law Enforcement agencies that Pct. 1 Constable Don Chumley’ s office has coordinated with and their willingness to help us clear all these warrants up” said Judge Mack Judge Mack and his Justice Court One staff are willing to work with those individuals who have unpaid fines, to get their accounts current in order to avoid jail.

While this warrant roundup is underway, people with unpaid fines will be arrested, brought before the court or taken to jail. Police Officers will go to homes, places of work or wherever they might find those who have avoided their responsibility to the court. Anyone with outstanding warrants should take the opportunity to pay their fines immediately to avoid this.

“There is no excuse for not taking care of your business” said Judge Mack. ” My staff is here every day, people can pay their fines or set up a payment plan. Going to jail will not solve the problem.”
