MAGNOLIA TEACHERS AIDE CHARGED WITH IMPROPER RELATIONSHIP WITH STUDENT

KRYSTAL BERNARD A Magnolia West Special Needs Teachers Aide was arrested just hours after an investigation opened into an allegation that 22-year-old Krystal Bernard had an improper relationship with a 17-year-old male student. Wednesday Precinct 5 Constables arrested Bernard at the school. She is charged with improper relationship between educator and student. The second degree felony offense is defined as follows: An employee of a public or private primary or secondary school commits an offense if the employee engages in sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or deviate sexual intercourse with a person who is enrolled in a public or private primary or secondary school at which the employee works and who is not the employee’s spouse..

Magnolia ISD has placed Bernard on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
