On March 27, 2017, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office were contacted by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, requesting assistance in the apprehension of Jesus Garza. Garza was wanted for the aggravated assault of his girlfriend and asked for the assistance of Constable Mark Herman’s Office in his apprehension.
Garza was believed to be hiding out at his mother’s home in the 24200 block of Lone Elm. Refusing to cooperate, Mary Garza closed and locked the door. Forced entry was made into the residence with the assistance of a K-9 officer, and Jesus Garza was located and placed under arrest.
Jesus Garza was also charged with Retaliation after making threats that he would harm the K-9 officer that apprehended him, and kill his K-9 partner.
