Just after 1230a.m. MCSO engaged a motorcycle in a pursuit southbound on I-69 at Community. The pursuit continued at 110 mph as Humble Police were notified. The motorcycle exited North Park and continued east at 120 mph where MCSO disengaged the pursuit due to safety concerns.
Moments later the motorcycle was again spotted on Loop 494 at Community. Montgomery County Precinct 4 once again engaged in a pursuit at close to 100 mph. With units setting up just ahead the driver turned east on Keith Drive where he was stopped and arrested.
David Eckler, 40 o Houston told deputies he ran because he had traffic warrants.
A check verified he had a warrant through Montgomery County for Failure to Appear and for Speeding.
His motorcycle was towed and he was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
