SEARCH FOR 3-YEAR-OLD CONTINUES

1 PM- The search for the young 3-year-old boy who went missing on Wednesday continues today. Eqqusearch and several other agencies have responded with trained volunteer groups to do a grid shoulder-to-shoulder search of the area. There has still been no sign of him. After diving a pond near his home Wednesday night Sheriff Sowell asked that the pond be pumped out to make sure the child was not there. TDCJ along with Shiro, Anderson Fire Departments, and HAZMAT International from Conroe spent the afternoon pumping it almost dry. The only thing found was some giant crawfish. Again today Sheriff Sowell asked for another pond on the opposite side of the subdivision to be pumped. TDC along with Montgomery and The Woodlands Fire Departments pumped it only to find nothing. Many feel foul play could be involved but many don’t recall Little Devin in March of 2012 who was missing for five days. Devin was only 2-years-old when he walked away from the house in rural Liberty County. The search was starting to wind down when a member of the Eqqusearch Team insisted on a red object in a pond which appeared to be an ice chest. Tragically it was little Devin. Searchers here have not even come close to giving up. They have been checking locations multiple times. It is also known that wolves and wild hogs are in these woods along with snakes where the child could just be injured. The outpouring has been tremendous, from local residents helping with food and granting access to their property. Moffitt Services of Houston has made several trips with a fuel truck supplying fuel for command centers and generators. Also when one of the large pumps sucked in a foreign object shutting the pump down Gary with Pontonn’s Auto Repair which is adjacent to the community stepped up and did emergency repairs to keep operations going. The FBI continues to assist Grimes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and at this point, no foul play is suspected. The search will continue. Multiple Agencies are assisting the search for Christopher, Tomball Police, Montgomery County Precinct 1 and 5 Constables Offices, Washington County Sheriffs Office, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Navasota, Woodlands, Montgomery, Magnolia, Bryan, Shiro, Whitehall, Plantersville, and Iola Fire Departments. Also Tomball and Navasota Police along with DPS, FBI, TDC, and Texas Game Wardens. Tim Miller with Eqqusearch has close to 100 volunteers assisting.
