A crash just after 8 am Friday has left a motorcycle driver critical. The Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on the I-69 feeder. As he approached East River Road, a female driving a Ford Focus and traveling west on East River ran the red light at the freeway intersection and was struck by the motorcycle. That intersection is the location of multiple crashes every month. Traffic on East River must stop for the feeder. However, feeder traffic does not stop. Many drivers see the flashing light at the intersection and assume feeder traffic does stop. Signage is up in both directions on East River that cross traffic does not stop. The female driver of the Ford was also transported.
