Just after 2am Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Willis Police responded to a train vs pedestrian incident on the tracks just north of the Willis City limits. The train conductor reported they struck a person on the tracks. North Montgomery County Fire responded along with MCHD. After walking the tracks the victim was found about 2-miles north of Rogers Road. Montgomery County Sheriffs Office is investigating. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the unidentified victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy and identification.
