At 1:20 this morning Conroe Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 300 block of South Sandra. Conroe police were first to arrive on the scene of the single story structure with heavy fire showing toward the rear of the home. The first Conroe officer on the scene was able to pull a male victim to safety. Moments later Conroe firefighters arrived and after making entry were able to rescue the female victim. Both were transported to Hermann Hospital in Houston. They are in stable condition.
The fire was brought under control at 2:03 a.m.
