Status Update from the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management on Buyout Program

The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will be hosting numerous events for our Buyout Application Program next week around Montgomery County.

Buyout Program Presentation:

Monday, January 6th from 6pm-8pm

City of Conroe

300 W. Davis St.

Conroe, TX 77301

(Council Chambers on the 1st Floor)

This will be an informative discussion over what federal buyouts are, how they work and what residents can expect. A question and answer session will be available following the presentation as well as the ability to complete an application.

Application Center Openings:

Tuesday, January 7th from 10am-8pm

Tullis Library

New Caney, TX 77357

Thursday, January 9th from 1pm-7pm

Woodbranch City Hall

58A Woodbranch Dr.

New Caney, TX 77357

The application period is open from October 11, 2019- January 31, 2020. Residents do not have to have all of the documentation to turn in the application, but applications are not considered complete until all documents have been received. Buyout Applications are available by the various outlets below:

Apply at www.mctx.org/recover and download the application
Application intake center
Pick-up an application at any of the Montgomery County Libraries
Email mocorecovery@gmail.com to request an application
Buyout Applications can be submitted by the following:

Email complete application to mocorecovery@gmail.com (last name and address as subject title)
Mail or drop off to The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management located at 9472 Airport Rd. Conroe TX 77303
Fax application to (936) 523-3910 at the attention of the Recovery Manager
