Just after 10:30 pm a reported shooting on Crossroads Drive in Patton Village came into dispatchers. The first units arrived found a 37-year-old male shot in the head. In addition a female shot in the upper torso. The male was transferred to Kingwood Hospital in critical condition. The female was transported to HCA Conroe in critical condition. Units from Patton Village, Splendora, Roman Forest, Precinct 4 Constables, and Montgomery County Sheriff’sunits responded after the first unit advised he had a large unruly crowd. Montgomery County Violent Crimes Unit is now investigating. According to witnesses, several persons showed up in what is believed to be a 2012 black Charger. A confrontation over a female took place causing the male victim the start hitting the Charger with a baseball bat, damaging the left front headlight. One of the persons in the car opened fire striking him in the head. As the vehicle drove off and the female was running she was shot. Police are still looking for the vehicle and believe they know who the suspect is.
