Just after midnight Saturday Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 15800 block of Emerald Ct. in New Caney. When they arrived along with EMC Fire and MCHD medics they found two persons that had been struck by a tan type, possibly Suburban and fled the scene. One male who was struck remains at Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition. The other is now stable.. Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office learned that from 80-100 persons attended a party where they were shooting fireworks and drinking. Several males appeared uninvited and a disturbance began. When the males left in the tan vehicle is when the victims were struck.By the time deputies arrived most of the crowd left. Detectives are getting various stories on what exactly transpired. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Detectives are asking for anyone with information on who to occupants of the tan vehicle were or have additional information to please contact Crime Stoppers or the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
