DPS has identified the pedestrian that was struck on FM 1485 and Gene Campbell Saturday night as Alva Ray Gammons, age 50 of Shepherd, Texas.
At 9:03pm DPS received the call of an auto pedestrian hit and run accident and responded. They are now trying to determine what type of vehicle struck Gammons who was walking eastbound on FM 1485.
If anyone witnessed the crash or may have information you are asked to contact DPS. Trooper Sutton is continuing the investigation.
