On this date July 28, 2010 at approximately 2:30 P.M. Harris County Deputy Constables Pct-4 were dispatched to an in progress weapons disturbance located at 14,226 Cypress Meadows Dr. Upon Deputies arrival they found a male inside the residence with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital were he was pronounced DOA. Deputies were advised that the suspect was a family member who had fled the scene on foot. The suspect was identified as GORME, LOX “aka” YACAS, MISAEL described as a Pacific Islander with a shaved head last seen wearing a grey tee-shirt, red shorts with a black stripe and caring two back packs. A search of the area was conducted, and the suspect was not located.
Harris County Sheriffs Office Homicide Unit was then called to the scene to begin an investigation. Investigators learned that the suspect, victim who is the ex-husband, the current husband, and wife lived at the residence along with several juveniles. Witnesses advised that the suspect who is the brother of the victim’s ex-wife got into a verbal altercation with his sister, in which time he walked into the kitchen area and shot the victim. Suspect then threaten to shot his sister and the juveniles with the handgun as he fled the scene on foot.
Murder charges has been filed on the suspect under the name of GORME, LOX in the 179th District Court, Bond set at $50,000.
The suspect was last seen on foot in the area. The Sheriffs Office is asking that anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the Sheriffs Office Homicide Unit at (713) 967-5810, or Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.
