On February 7, 2017, at 3:00 pm, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a theft at the Toys R’Us toy store located at 1420 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, Texas.
According to video and eye witness statements, a cashier with Toys R’Us had just completed a transaction with a customer at the register. Once the register till was open, an unknown black female, who was next in line, reached over the counter and grabbed an undetermined amount of money from the open register. The black female then ran from the store and got into a white Toyota passenger car with temporary paper tags.
The suspect is described as a black female appearing to be in her 20’s-30’s, wearing a dark colored hat and long sleeve sweater. It appeared that she was carrying a maroon purse.
Thankfully, no one was injured during this theft.
