What is believed to be a homeless male with a backpack helped himself to the merchandise at the CVS Store at 5402 Westheimer just after 1am. The store closed at midnight and employees stayed for awhile to stock. Then, after they left security caught a male on camera filling a backpack. Houston Police surrounded the building, Houston Fire Department laddered the building for a roof search but the suspect was gone. Police this the male who they believe is a homeless male from the area, hid in the store until after closing, helped himself then left through the rear fire emergency door.
