Just after 5am Saturday morning a fire was reported at a condo complex in the Forest Cove area of Kingwood. Firefighters arrived at the scene to see flames through the roof. It was to intense to enter as the walls and the roof began to collapse. In addition the air conditioners were mounted on the roof, one such fell through the roof as the fire burned.
A neighbor saw a deceased male hanging from the rear balcony of the burning apartment with a noose made of television coax. He cut him down and notified paramedics. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Houston Police Homicide detectives responded to the scene. Neighbors said the occupant was a welder who had recently gone through a divorce. They said he was friendly and always talk to them from his balcony.
