CONSTABLES ARREST SUSPECT WHO STOLE $1,700.00 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE FROM THE LOWE’S HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE

On August 19th, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the Lowe’s Home Improvement Store located in the 20200 block of the North Freeway in reference to a shoplifter.
Upon deputies arriving, a store employee advised that he observed a male conceal merchandise and proceeded to walk out of the business with no intent to purchase them.
Constable Deputies detained the suspect and identified him as Mark Mulkey. He was found to be in possession of over $1,700.00 worth of stolen property which was recovered and returned to the business.
Further investigation revealed that he had several open warrants and prior Theft convictions.
“Mark Mulkey was arrested and booked in the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Theft with Prior Convictions. His bond was set at $15,000.00 out of the 209th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
