Just after 6p.m. Thursday night Bryan Carnes, 43, of Willis was pulling out of the Kroger Fuel parking lot onto SH 105 to travel eastbound. As he was crossing the light at the intersection of North Loop 336 and SH 105 changed.
Wayne Allen Foster Jr. , 38, of Conroe riding a motorcycle accelerated at a high rate of speed. He struck the front of Carnes truck. Fosterâs bike continued almost 250 feet past the impact point ejecting Foster from the motorcycle.
MCHD responded along with Conroe Fire Department. Carnes was uninjured, however Foster went into traumatic arrest on the scene. He was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The accident is being investigated by the Conroe Police Depart CORT Team.
The Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon along with several of his investigators also responded to the location.
The investigation will continue. No charges will be filed at this time.
Lt. Buckholtz stated speed was a factor to the crash on the motorcycle operators part. He continued to state that failure to yield from a private drive also played a part in the accident.
