GRIMES COUNTY DEPUTIES GIVEN NEW TOOLS TO ASSIST IN SAVING LIVES

On the date of Friday, June 8th 2018, This Grimes County Sheriff’s Office received a donation of six AED’s (Automated External Defibrillator) from the Emergency Medical First Responders of Grimes County.

These six AED’s will be placed in Patrol Deputies vehicles to better assist the citizens of Grimes County in the event of a medical emergency. In some events, It is not uncommon for Patrol Deputies to arrive on scene minutes before EMS.

In receiving this donation, Deputies will be able to provide advanced life-saving treatment to citizens in medical distress.

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office extends its thanks and gratitude to Emergency Medical First Responders of Grimes County along with those who donated for the purchase of these AED’s being as follows: Grimes County Crimestoppers Program, Grimes County Republican Party, Grimes County Women’s Republican Party, Friends of Grimes County, and several private donors.
