Just after 9p.m. this evening Elizabeth Osuna, 22, of Conroe was on the way to spend some time with friends. She was eastbound on Loop 336 and was turning left with a green arrow onto Airport Road. Only halfway into her turn she was hit almost head on by Billy Murray, 27 of Conroe as her and a female companion ran the red light in their west bound Mitsubishi. Osuna was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital with back and neck pain from her seatbelt.
Murray was given field sobriety tests by Conroe Police and appeared not to be impaired. The intersection was closed for almost thirty minutes.
