Pct. 4 Busts Infamous Cleveland Teen

Lewis,_Brad_LeeEAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY– Early Thursday morning, a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable made a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of a Cleveland teen who is on probation for aggravated sexual assault of a child in connection with the 2010 gang rape of an 11-year-old girl in an abandoned trailer. A female companion who shares his address was also arrested.

Around 1 a.m. Thursday, a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable initiated a traffic stop for a violation on US 59. He smelled a strong odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle and saw marijuana on the lap of the driver, Brad Lewis.

He asked Lewis to step out of the vehicle and detained him. The deputy then spoke with the Kenzey Williams, the female passenger. She told the deputy she knew there was marijuana in the vehicle, but did not know where it was.

A search of the vehicle revealed a backpack containing a clear plastic sandwich bag containing several dozen smaller plastic bags like those typically used by drug dealers, as well as two small clear plastic bags containing cocaine. The backpack also contained about a half ounce of marijuana. Between the backseat and a child’s car seat the deputy discovered a large clear plastic bag containing marijuana.

Additional evidence the drugs were being sold was removed from the vehicle.

Brad Lee Lewis, 19, of Cleveland and Kenzey Lorraine Williams, 18, of Cleveland are charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute; and felony Possession of Marijuana.
