Pvt. Cody Carlisle, of Porter, graduated Army Basic Training last week at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Carlisle is a 2014 Porter High School graduate. His parents are EMCID Board Member and Roman Forest Police Chief Stephen Carlisle, and Laura Carlisle, owner of Laura’s Dog Grooming in Roman Forest. The proud parents traveled to Fort Jackson to watch Cody’s graduation. They won’t see Cody for two more months, and then he will return home for a five day visit.
