RACE TONIGHT AT 105 SPEEDWAY -HOUSTON POLICE AGAINST STREET RACERS-PLENTY TIME STILL GET OUT TO VIEW

A few weeks back Houston was the host to the Y2K 2023 racers a local dragstrip. However, many decided to take the races to the streets keeping law enforcement so busy that a task force was put together. One of those racers was Randy Seals, well-known in the area. He and several others gathered in North Houston and started racing one night. Little did they know that several Houston Police Officers had infiltrated their camp and the drones overhead were those of the Houston Police Department. Randy was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail where he spent 22 hours. When he was released he got on Facebook and challenged the Houston Police Officers Union to a race. After several hours of discussion, it was agreed that tonight will be held at the Highway 105 Speedway, a dirt track, in Cleveland, Texas. Twelve Crown Viictorias were acquired, stripped down, and equipped with roll cages. One of the officers said he has never been in a race before but feels his Houston Police experience with pursuits in the city will give him an edge. Houston Police Officers also gave Randy an invitation to apply with Houston Police Department along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The race became so popular that at 7:30 pm folks are still coming into the gate. With the extra cars from the other races and the crowd, it has pushed the police race back to after 10 pm tonight. Plenty of time for folks to come out and see it.
