TRUCK FOUND UPSIDE DOWN IN CREEKBED, DRIVER DECEASED

Just after 8 am Saturday Lake Conroe Fire Department was dispatched to a reported major accident on FM 2854 near Collier Cemetery. They arrived to find a black Ford F150 off to the north side of FM 2854 upside down in a creek bed. The only thing visible from the roadway were the four wheels. Fog was very heavy at the time. DPS is still investigating to determine the time and cause of the crash. It is unknown how long the vehicle was upside down in the creek bed. The truck had going eastbound when it left the roadway, struck a mailbox and a culvert then rolled over. The male driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased by Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack who responded to the scene. Judge Mack ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the male victim to the Forensic Center for autopsy.
