The body of a missing Houston mother has been found in Midland County.
31-year-old Michelle Warner had been missing since last week from Houston.
Houston Police Dept. Public Information Officer Jodi Silva said Warner’s body was found in Midland County on Sunday.
Warner’s estranged boyfriend, Mark Castellano, is facing murder charges.
According to the Houston Police Department, Castellano confessed to police that he and Warner got into argument and that he killed her on September 22.
Silva says Castellano confessed that he brought her body to Midland County and attempted to leave it in an oilfield. Silva says Castellano directed officials to where the body was.
He flew back to Houston on Sunday and is currently in custody.
An autopsy is pending but we’re told Warner possibly had a broken neck.

This woman was last seen on Friday after a reported argument with her husband who has left town and is now in Odessa, Texas with his child and his family. It is reported she she walked away from the argument at the complex leaving her husband and baby in the vehicle and walked off. Her other child is with the father in Baytown.
Michelle had just started a new job as a Paralegal and her family stated she loved her job and it wasn’t like her to just vanish.
Houston Police were sent to the scene Tuesday but according to family refused to do a missing person report even though the spotted some bleached stains on the carpet and a computer hard drive removed.

Houston Police are now calling it an active investigation and Equusearch has joined in the search.

Michelle was last seen by a trusted source on Friday, September 21 around 11:30 PM to 12:00 midnight at Regency Square Apartment Complex (7222 Bellerive Dr Houston TX 77036) in the Sharpstown / Houston area. No close or distant friends or family have heard from Michelle since. There is evidence in her apartment that supports the idea that she may have been harmed physically.
