WOMAN CHARGED WITH SUPPLYING FENFENTANYL TO MALE WHO DIED

On October 7, 2023, Deputies and Detectives with the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the Turnbury Village subdivision in reference to a deceased person call. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered the body of an adult male victim, who appeared to have died as a result of a drug overdose. Also on location, was an adult female, identified as Cherry Rose, who appeared to be under the influence and was transported to a local hospital by EMS. During the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that victim died a result of an overdose from multiple drugs including heroin and fentanyl. Through the process of investigation which involved search warrants, and the analysis of electronic devices, Detectives learned that Cherry supplied the victim with the narcotics which led to his death. On April 26, 2024, CIU and patrol Deputies arrested Cherry for Delivery of a Controlled Substance causing death. Cherry was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and is being held on a $100,000 dollar bond.

 

Constable Ryan Gable’s Office is committed to combatting the epidemic of fentanyl related overdose deaths, and arresting those who supply this dangerous drug to others.
