We have been on the phone (yes there is a live body) with Facebook this morning. Many have said that they are no longer receiving alerts on the page. Facebook said that many times when they upgrade is is possible some settings could change.
They suggest
FROM YOUR PAGE GO TO MONTGOMERY COUNTY POLICE REPORTER
HOVER OR CLICK ON LIKE/LIKED WHICH IS NEXT TO MESSAGE
GO TO NOTIFICATIONS AND CLICK ON IT
SELECT ALL OF THEM
ANOTHER OPTION IS FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
Go to notifications IN APP
Then go to emails, and select either the middle or top option.
Then go back to Mobile push, and you will be able to check off which notifications you want to get
ON THE NEW WEBSITE WE HAVE ALSO ADDED EMAIL ALERTS THIS WILL BE UP AND GOING IN THE NEXT DAY OR SO.
ON THE RIGHT SELECT SUBSCRIBE TO MCPR POSTS
FACEBOOK HAS ALSO DECIDED THEY WANT MORE MONEY, THEY NOW ONLY ALLOW 5 NOTIFICATIONS A DAY,. ADDITIONAL WE HAVE TO PAY FOR WHICH WE ARE WAITING FOR AN EMAIL THERE.
